Algeria's energy sector, online.
The energy engine for Algeria is now deployed, indexing hydrocarbons, renewables, and industrial energy infrastructure across the country's Saharan and coastal corridors.
Algeria's energy sector is the backbone of its economy and one of the most strategically significant hydrocarbons markets bordering Europe — yet the structured data describing it is scattered across operator reports, ministry bulletins, and international energy databases that rarely speak to each other. This engine builds on the geographical foundation laid by engine-dz to bring that data into one searchable layer.
The energy-dz engine indexes hydrocarbons sites and operators, renewable energy projects, transport and pipeline infrastructure, and the institutional and regulatory layer — Sonatrach, the Ministry of Energy and Mines, and the renewables agency — that frames the sector.
Initial deployment prioritises the major Saharan production basins and the northern refining and export infrastructure, with the emerging solar and renewables layer following in v0.2.0.
